Retail Optimization Inc.
Retail Optimization, Inc. (New Haven, CT) was a leader in space optimization software for retail stores. In June of 2012, ROI was purchased by Revionics, Inc., which offers lifecycle price, promotion, and markdown optimization software solutions for the retail industry. ROI’s products, now sold by Revionics, are substantially more sophisticated than other products on the market, allowing space planning of a store to be done on a whole store basis, as opposed to the category by category basis that had been the industry standard. Elm Street invested in the Series A preferred stock of the company, alongside lead investor Connecticut Innovations. Rob Bettigole served on the board of directors.
